GoPrint Print Management Software
System Administration Overview
GoPrint offers a 100% web-based administrative interface allowing you to perform administrative tasks conveniently from your office workstation or while in a lab.
Granular Administrator Roles
System administrators can assign access rights to perform system wide tasks to specific users or groups based on either internally generated accounts or LDAP driven accounts created from existing campus organizations.
The flexible and scalable admin roles have been designed to support any environment, from public libraries, to multiple departments, to city-wide campus solutions. User groups can be granted rights to view and access printers, Print Release Stations, Web Client Popups and payment methods associated only in their designated management area through ACL permissions.
Staff Override Control
Administrators can monitor user and printing activity directly from their workstation using the GoPrint web-based Control Center, (No software needs to be installed!). GoPrint print queues can be monitored by staff allowing them to print, cancel, redirect, or release print jobs in the patron's queue. When used with Archived printing, staff can requeue archived print jobs and release them, or redirect them, or simply requeue for patron payment.
Cashier Role
Allows authorized staff to perform user account creation tasks, make deposits, issue refunds, and view daily transactions and balances.
Cashiers can run daily close-out reports and export these Financial Reports to the appropriate department head. All GoPrint reports can be printed and exported into various formats such as HTML, Excel, CSV and PDF.
