Decision Based Printing
GoPrint supports operating system level print pooling, print redirection (using hold queues, virtual printers), and the built-in GoPrint Load Balancing system.
Load Balancing
With the GoPrint load balancing system, a single print queue is defined as a Load Balancer (hold queue or virtual queue). Desired print queues are added to the Load Balancing set allowing the print load to be equally distributed among the printers.
GoPrint enhanced decision based printing provides granular control over load balancing queues by allowing you to adjust a printer’s PPM (pages per minute) to assist in balancing the work load among printers.
GoPrint's built-in SNMP fault-detection feature detects a printer's SNMP generated error messages (such as paper jams, offline, out of paper) and redirects jobs to other online queues in the load balance set.
